- XML Schemas
With Live Forms Designer, you can simply upload XML schemas and have frevvo automatically
generate forms for you. The forms automatically enforce all constraints imposed by the
schema including data types, minimum and maximum occurrences etc. frevvo also comes with
common pre-defined schemas from which you can generate forms.
If you prefer, you can drag and drop controls from the Form Designer to create your forms and then
generate an XML schema for the form.
You can also generate a single form from multiple schemas.
- XML Documents
When the form is submitted, it will automatically generate one or more XML documents.
Documents are guaranteed to conform to the schema that was used to generate them or
to the form schema.
You can view/download XML documents from frevvo's document repository or have them
e-mailed to you. frevvo can also send each individual XML document and/or
the collection of documents to your web site/application making it very easy to
integrate rich, powerful forms with your application server or BPM platform.
- Initializing forms
frevvo forms can also be initialized at load time via one or more XML documents.
The controls in the form will automatically populate with data from the supplied
XML document.
- Dynamic forms
frevvo forms are dynamic. The XML initialization feature can be used to dynamically
change the content of one or more controls in the form without refreshing.
- Database Integration
frevvo provides a free, open-source database connector that can be used to easily
work with your database. Database information can be easily pre-loaded into the form
and submitted data can be written to the database.
