Live Forms Designer leverages Ajax technologies to easily create rich, dynamic, Web 2.0 forms using just a browser. These forms work with real business applications and the information collected can be easily used across business processes since Live Forms support industry-standard XML and can use any customer-defined schema. Live Forms provide a rich user experience far beyond typical web forms. No installation is required since the designer runs completely in your existing browser.

The Standard Edition is suitable for customers who want to create powerful forms but do not need to work with databases or with applications that are XML schema based (such as business process management systems or application servers). With this edition, you can drag and drop controls and create rich forms with powerful features like instantaneous, automatic validation for your users, business rules, tabbed views and repeating sections. You can view your submissions on the web, have them sent to you by email, download via Excel, or integrate with Google Spreadsheets.

The Standard Edition is only available via the SaaS (hosted) model.

The Professional Edition is suitable for customers who need to work with databases or applications that are XML schema based (such as business process management systems or application servers). In addition to the features from the Standard Edition, you can automatically generate forms from XML schema, generate XML schemas from forms, initialize them with XML documents and easily integrate with XML-based applications. With this edition, you can have the form generate and send XML data to your web server.

The Professional Edition is available via the SaaS (hosted) or downloadable (in-house) model.

The possibilities are practically unlimited. You can build forms simply by dragging and dropping controls from frevvo's designer or you can upload XML schemas and have frevvo automatically generate complex forms for you. You can create multi-page forms, tabbed views, collapsible sections, repeating items and conditional questions.

To use the Designer, all you need is a modern web browser with Javascript, CSS and cookies enabled and an internet connection. For designing forms, frevvo supports Firefox 2.x on Mac & PC; Internet Explorer 6 & 7 on the PC. Your users can additionally access and fill out your forms using Safari on the Mac and Firefox on Linux. frevvo does not support Internet Explorer versions 5.x on the Mac or PC.

frevvo can host the Server for you but if you prefer to install it in house, you will require at least Java 5 (JRE 5.0) and any servlet 2.4 or higher container.

Your forms can be easily integrated with your own web site and will appear to your users as if they are hosted on your web site. The editing and management functions will still be available to you via the Live Forms server.

You can build forms just by adding controls directly in your browser. Nothing needs to be installed on your computer. Once you build and save the form, frevvo will automatically generate the back end representation, scripts and everything else you need to quickly and easily collect the data you need.

frevvo can also generate an XML schema to describe the data that your form is designed to collect. Your data will be available as an XML document that can be accessed via email or HTTP. This makes it very easy to integrate with existing server applications and web services.

If you already have XML schemas that define your data, you can just upload the schemas and have frevvo automatically generate forms based on those schemas. You can mix and match schemas at will, add controls and edit the form as you require. Once again, when you save the form, we will automatically generate everything you need to collect the data. Your data will be available as an XML document that will conform to the selected schema(s).
